Pro, Max 5x and Max 20x are different tiers
Anthropic lists Pro at $20 per month, Max 5x at $100 per month and Max 20x at $200 per month on the web. The 5x and 20x labels describe usage capacity per session relative to Pro; they are not five or twenty separate accounts. Storefront list prices can differ, as the US App Store rows below show.
Choose a tier around the work you actually do and the limits shown in your account. A higher price alone does not guarantee a particular number of messages because usage also depends on context and features.

Pro annual billing is a separate comparison
The published web Pro annual total is $200, paid up front. The “$17/month” wording on Anthropic’s pricing page is an equivalent monthly figure, not a monthly $17 charge. Our US App Store annual listing has its own total and should be compared against the annual web total, not a single monthly payment.
Do not multiply an App Store monthly list price and call it the annual subscription: annual products can have a different discount, and taxes or checkout rules can also differ.

A Pro or Max subscription does not buy API credits
Anthropic says Pro does not include Claude Console API usage. This site compares consumer subscription prices; token-based API charges have their own billing and should not be mixed into the country ranking.
